At Wink's height, it was inevitable that somebody would spoof the super duo, so... comprised of comedian Yamada Kumiko and her cute little friend Yokoyama Chie, Yamadakatsutenai Wink (or just Yamakatsu if you don't feel like saying the whole damn thing) took the charts by surprise when they released the unexpected hit "T-Intersection" in 1991. They followed it up quickly with another strong hit "Sayonara dakedo, Sayonara janai" and called it quits before their 15 minutes ran out. And just so you don't get confused, the name means "You haven't seen this Wink before".
