Sendo Akiho

Akiho was one of the hottest actresses of her time. She played a lot of roles which called for a sultry character. Akiho debuted in 1990 with the single "It's a Melody" and the album "Aquiho" (she liked to spell her name with a "Q" even though the letter doesn't exist in the Japanese language). She also ventured into the music world from time to time and made the music television show circuit. As well as promoting her latest single, she would also sing classics like "Akuma no Drive" or "Aoi Tori."

In 1991, she made her acting debut in the Fuji TV drama "Tokyo Love Story" which propelled her to top star status. She also appeared in numerous movies such as "Cinderella wa Nemuranai" and the musical "Annie."
