The "Seven Stars" were comprised of 2 idol groups: Lip's (Kato Takako, Yamamoto and Yoshimura Natsue) and Rakutenshi (Nakayama Shinobu, Kawada Junko and Tayama Mamiko - solo idols in their own right), plus solo idol Shishido Rumi. This supergroup was put together for the sole purpose of releasing the christmas album (and single and video) "Seiya Nanatsuboshi." The single (and highlight of the album and video) was the song "Ribbon Musubi no WAKU WAKU" which featured all seven of the girls. Rakutenshi, Lip's and Shishido Rumi and all three members of Rakutenshi each also had featured solo songs in the album. Certainly a must-have.
