Mi-Ke started out as the back-up singers for B.B. Queens. They soon decided to head out on their own and the gamble paid off. Utoku Keiko, Murakami Haruka and Watanabe Mami's groovy sixties styles (both in sound and looks) proved to be quite popular and they found themselves to be regular guests on the music TV programs as they churned out hit after hit of American sixties, traditional Japanese and new original songs. They had to be seen to be truly appreciated.
