Honda Minako

Minako was the chameleon of the idol world. She started out as a standard idol doing cute songs, then she morphed into a Janet Jackson clone. When that phase passed, she turned into a Madonna clone - crucifix and all (no, she's not christian). Then when Princess Princess hit it big, she formed the rock band Honda Minako and the Wildcats. They were quite good actually. And Minako proved that she could belt out a rocker with the best of them. After that ran it's course, she turned into the "matured idol," singing mostly ballads. She then ended up doing broadway musicals, playing the main character in "Miss Saigon." A very versatile performer indeed.
