| Rika started out as the typical cute idol, singing the
cute songs that she was told to sing. She debuted in 1988 with the single
"Garasu no Kiss" and continued on this path for a couple of years. In late
1989, she released the album "Amazing Story" which featured 2 songs that she
co-wrote. After her popularity as an idol faded, she set out on her own as
"Nishimura Rika" and continued to write her own songs. She hooked up with the
band Coming Soon and recorded four albums with them backing her before retiring
in 1995. |
