Onyanko Club member #11. Being a former member of the Onyanko Club has it's advantages in that everybody already knows who you are. Satomi followed in Akie Yoshizawa's footsteps and landed a role in Sukeban Deka III as Yui's covert bodyguard, Leia (the series borrowed a lot from Star Wars). Satomi also provided the ending theme song "Heart o Ignite."
In 1986, Satomi "graduated" from Onyanko Club but returned later for the "Final Concert." She continued afterwards to work in TV and also made a few hit singles, the biggest being "Kaze no Invitation", a great song! Perfect example of classic idol music. If you are lucky enough to have an opportunity to get a copy of her album "Sambo" - grab it! It's great! She can also be seen in a music video at the end of the anime classic "Project A-ko part 2" singing the theme song "Natsu no Intro" and sporting a short bob cut which looks good on her.
She retired after only a few years due to health reasons.
