Babe

Babe are Tomoko Kondo (left) and Yukari Nikaido (right). Before the arrival of Wink, Babe was the leader in the "more than one" category. They enjoyed many hits including "I Don't Know", "Give Me Up", "Somebody Loves You" and "Tonight" to name a few. They were popular enough to be semi-regular guests on the "Young Studio 101" variety show hosted by saxophonist extraordinaire Malta. Unlike the other idol groups before and after, they were a singing duo with a sense of humor. Goofy gals with goofy outfits.
